Jacob Ambaum Area Park

The city's new one-acre park property located on the west side of Ambaum Boulevard SW, just north of SW 128th Street was officially named Jacob Ambaum Park in November. The park design review is currently under way with construction slated for early 2006.

Park design features include parking, a restroom, sport court, playground, plaza, picnic tables, and benches. The park is being built in phases to take advantage of grants. Construction of the southern portion of the site to include parking, sport court, picnic tables and benches. The second phase of construction, to include a play toy, restroom, plaza, picnic tables and benches, is scheduled for fall 2007.
