Man dies from gunshot wound

April 25--Police arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man at a Des Moines apartment.

They had been called to the scene of a shooting in the 22300 block of 24th Avenue South.

On arrival, officers found an adult male victim dead from a gunshot wound.

Information at the scene led police to believe the suspect fled in a blue 2004 Chevrolet Silverado pickup.

The vehicle fled southbound on 24th Avenue. The vehicle was listed as stolen, and the suspect in the shooting was believed to be in the vehicle. The suspect was later taken into custody outside a Federal Way McDonald's.
